I arrived a little bit before closing, and the only items they had left were brisket, beans, and mac and cheese. The sides could definitely be better, but the brisket was amazing. It was some of the best brisket I have ever had.
We saw good reviews for this place so we wanted to try it. Terrible decision. The brisket sandwich was soggy, the brisket itself wasn't bad but by no means the best. The Mac n Cheese was overcooked and the cheese sauce was separated. The chicken thigh I got was cooked well but tasted like tires, I don't know if it was the seasoning or something while it cooked but all I could taste was parking lot and tires. Overall disappointing. Wish we hadn't paid so much for so little.
I live in Texas and this BBQ is fantastic! The two meat plate and my wife's one meat plate was a lot of food, so we took it home and finished it in two additional meals. The owner is pretty cool and let us sample a few other things on the menu. Ribs and tri-tip were really good. It's a small place next to a gas station, but if you like Texas BBQ, I recommend it.
